Programs
Book access → Storytelling → Literacy → Imagination → Futures literacy
Seven programmes, built in sequence. Each one began where the previous one stopped being enough.
Where every book we place begins.
Schools, apartment complexes, offices and neighbourhoods run collection drives. Volunteers sort what comes in, and only books a child would genuinely want to read move forward.

Collection is the easy half. Distribution means understanding a community, matching books to reading levels and languages, and involving the people who will use them.
Explore the programmeReading infrastructure that outlasts a donation.
Eleven-plus permanent libraries in schools and communities. Each one is set up with a local host who keeps it open, catalogued and growing.
Explore the programmeThirty minutes that change how a child sees a book.
Volunteer-led reading sessions of 30 to 45 minutes. A story read aloud, questions in both directions, and a room full of children arguing about what should happen next.
Explore the programmeSmall groups, regular meetings, growing confidence.
Where storytelling is led by a volunteer, reading circles are led by the children. Peer groups that meet regularly to read, discuss and recommend.
Explore the programmeConfidence in the language, built around books.
Literacy and English-language sessions run in locations including Chennai and Namakkal, for children for whom the barrier is confidence rather than access.
Explore the programmeFrom understanding the world to imagining what it could become.
The newest and most ambitious part of the initiative. Literacy helps children read the world as it is. Futures literacy helps them consider how it might change — and their own part in that.
