Request Support

Get involved · For schools & organisations

Tell us who your readers are and where the books would live. We reply to every request — including the ones we cannot serve yet — and match what we send to your children's reading levels and languages.

About 10 minutesYour answers go to Pages of Joy and nowhere else

After you submit

1We check for a host, a space and a named person to own the books.
2We match you with stock from recent drives, or a programme that fits.
3Your nearest chapter (or the core team) delivers and sets up, then follows up.

What we can provide

Books matched to reading level and language; help setting up a permanent library; volunteer-led storytelling sessions; reading circles; English-learning sessions; and, as they launch, futures-literacy workshops.

What makes a request likely to succeed

Somewhere for books to live — a shelf, a cupboard, a room. An adult who will take responsibility for keeping them in circulation. And honesty about what already exists.

A modest, well-hosted request beats an ambitious one with nobody to own it.

This is not a guarantee

Submitting a request does not guarantee support. We are volunteer-run, and what we can send depends on stock, on volunteers near you, and on how many requests are open. We review each one on its merits and we always reply.

Photographs

You can upload photos of the space, and they help enormously. Please do not upload photographs of identifiable children without permission from a parent, guardian or the school.
